Nail tips

Beautiful nails make for stunning hands and feet. Here are some tips to ensure your nails stay nothing but beautiful.

Natural Nails

Having regular manicures and pedicures are the best way to achieve and maintain beautiful nails. A treatment should last between 45 minutes and 1 hour, depending on your choice of manicure/pedicure.

The benefits of having a regular manicure/pedicure.

  • Hydrates the hands/feet, nails and cuticles
  • Exfoliates the skin
  • Helps to maintain healthy nails
  • Helps to relieve aches and pains
  • Helps you to relax

To make an appointment or to simply discuss any requirements please call me on: 0800 046 3993 Alternatively you can email me at lisa@makemelovely.co.uk

Nail enhancements

Nail enhancements can be used to extend the natural nail or to strengthen your own nail. We strongly recommend that maintenance (infill's/backfills) is carried out every 2/3 weeks to keep your enhancements looking like new and more importantly to help keep your natural nail healthy.

Mobile Nail Technician & Spray Tans

Using a cuticle oil and hand cream daily will help your enhancements stay flexible therefore lasting longer whilst also nourishing your natural nails, softening cuticles and surrounding skin.

If you no longer require your nails, please do not pick or bite your enhancements off, as this will cause unnecessary damage to your natural nails and could lead to discomfort and also the risk of infection. Nail enhancements should be soaked off in "acetone" ideally by a professional. This makes it easier to ensure all traces of acrylic are taken off, and that no damage has been done to your natural nail. After the removal of acrylic nails, I would highly recommend that you have a manicure, to strengthen and re-hydrate your natural nails.
